5"h x 3 1/2"w portrait orientation black and white photo of the front gable end and road side of St. Ignatius Church at Chapel Point in Charles County. There are two visible and two barely visible rounded arch double hung windows on this side of the building. On the gable end, up near the roof peak, there is a small window. On the next level are three windows, but the photo is too dark for details. On the first level there is one window near the photographer and then a white clapboard entry building. There is a door facing the photographer and another parallel to the gable end. There is a platform astride the roof peak supporting the bell tower and steeple. The brickwork looks better on this side. There is a cross shaped turnbuckle at the corner of the building. There is some metal fencing along the road with a break for the path to the door..
