This is a photograph of a watercolor of the St. Inigoes manor house done by Cecilia Coad at the age of nine. She was very talented, if one judges by this picture. The artist viewed the building across a small cove populated by rowboats. The large building was on a point of land. At the far left was a windmill raised off the ground. It had four sails on long arms. The house was in the center, an imposing structure. It was two tall stories, but the second story was smaller than the first floor. It had a very tall hipped roof and other hipped roofs rose to the walls of the second story from the first level wings. There were four tall chimneys that appeared to rise from the intersection of the first story with the second story. Miss Coad painted three windows in the second story and three windows on each side of the first floor porch. This porch, centered on the first floor, was white with a closed end gable roof . It may have extended quite far on either side of the central door. On the right, partially covered by trees, was a two story outbuilding? dormitory? with a gable roof.
