August 11, 1987 Program for the meeting. The group met at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home at 9:30. The morning session was about insurance planning, followed by reports and other club business. Next was lunch and an afternoon program on the care of small appliances.
January 23, 1989 Minutes of a meeting of the St. Mary's Extension Council for Home and Community that ran from 10-2 and attracted 45 members. The morning program was about living wills and funeral planning. The group had done a Christmas party at the Veterans Home that was a success. College Days in June were to be in Cecil County. A trip to the Philadelphia Flower show was planned for March. Several other events were planned. There were requests for help and food donations. After a luncheon recess, the group learned about banking and personal finance.
January 22, 1990 [incomplete] This meeting was at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. The morning program was about fast food, followed by club business. The club voted unanimously to continue knitting hats and mittens and crocheting newborn caps.
