This newsletter does not have a real title. There is a masthead with the Cooperative Extension Service logo, CES, stacked vertically on the left. In a rectangle next to it is Cooperative Extension Service on one line, St. Mary's County on another line, with Home & Community on a third line. Perhaps this was a template for the entire state, with the county name the only modification. At the bottom of the page, in very tiny print, is a reference to the original enabling act of 1914 and another few lines with usual "programs open to all" statement. The date of the issue is not in a single place; one must hunt for it. The first sheet was usually white, but the other pages were often colored.
January 1983 P. 1 is notice and program for the January meeting and dues reminder. P. 2 is the minutes of the August meeting. P. 3 and 4 talked about the yearly theme, public relations know-how, and a call for committee reports. P. 5 was a January calendar prepared by the extension agent suggesting things to buy at this time of year and programs of interest. P. 6 was information about a shopping trip to North Carolina.
