This newsletter now has a real title: The Trumpet Vine. There is a masthead with a St. Mary's Extension Council for Home and Community above a pen and ink rendering of a trumpet vine with the title to the right. Later, Trumpet Vine was moved to the left above the drawing and the ... Council ... was put below the drawing. At the bottom of the page, in extremely tiny print, is a reference to the original enabling act of 1914 and another few lines with usual "programs open to all" statement. Beginning in September 1989, those statements were no longer used. The date of the issue is usually somewhere in the upper right side of the first page. The first sheet was usually white, but the other pages were often colored. A newsletter editor was identified on the upper left side under the masthead; Jean and Gale Frost were editors until January 1991, Charlene Betz started in March 1991.
