Water color by Father Stephen J. Tushak of Saint Mary's Hills Freehold, Saint Mary's City, Md. It is a spring scene. This tiny house is somewhat overwhelmed by its massive chimney. The house has a brick foundation, brick on the lower level of the gable end and frame above to the roof peak, and frame on the side. It has a gable roof with one frame gable dormer with a twelve-light window. The roof line on the other side has been modified and extended to cover a small addition. On the gable end is a twelve-light window between the chimney stacks. On the lower level there are two nine over nine double windows with brown shutters. There is a single four-light window in the pent between the chimney stacks. A very small addition projects from the wall beyond the chimney and has a gable roof on the same orientation as the main house. This small room has a single door--it looks like an entryway. The huge outside end chimney base supports two stacks. The chimney on the right begins its stack at the eave line, but the one on the left has a fireplace on the second floor and does not begin its stack until nearly the roof peak. Beyond the house is a white gable roofed outbuilding with the suggestion of a window in the visible side.
