Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of the St. Michael's Church in Ridge. This is a gable roof building with dark shingles for siding. There is an entry addition on the gable end, but most of it is not visible because of trees. The entire building is quite high off the ground--there appear to be six or seven steps to the door. The spire rises from the entry and expands to cover part of the roof near the peak. There is a pyramid roof there with a large white cornice, but then a smaller square bell tower rises from that. It has a tall pyramid roof topped with a cross. Each face of the bell tower has an eight light opening topped with a demi-lune. On the front of the spire are two demi-lunes, with a large one nearer the bottom and a smaller one toward the top. The large expanse of roof is unbroken by chimneys or dormers. A rounded arch window is just visible in the entry near the eaves of the first roof line. On the gable end of the main building is a large round arch window to the right of the entrance. There is a large white cornice on the long side of the building with a small return to the gable end and a bracket centered over each window. There are six round arch windows on the long side.
