This is a sepia-tone photograph of members of the staff at County Trust Company in 1938. Stephen Jones was seated and presumably the senior person, with Charles Fenwick, Stuart Bennett and Katherine Love standing behind Mr. Jones. The walk-in safe was behind them. The walls appeared to have been covered with light colored stamped tin sheets. A large window was on their right with a view of a clapboard building. Mr. Jones took off his glasses for this portrait. His desk was covered with papers. A small table behind the group also had lots of papers and a dangerous-looking electrical arrangement for a lamp on that table. Two embossing tools were on the windowsill, possibly for notarizing documents. The photo was mounted on heavy board that has been the target of vermin.
