Description

2 3/4"h x 4 1/4"w landscape orientation black and white newspaper photo of what I think was a postcard that was subsequently published in St. Mary's Today. The image is of a steamboat moored at the Leonardtown wharf perhaps around the turn of the twentieth century. The name of the boat is not visible. Most of the wharf was covered with wooden buildings in poor repair. ******************************************* Text on the bottom of the image: in black print "6214 Steamer at wharf Leonardtown Md. Publ. by Foxwell & Johns" and in handwriting "Aunt Mamie is much better ..."
