5"h x 7"w black and white photo of the L. J. Sterling family as Grandfather Sterling cut his birthday cake. Somehow the image was lightstruck in the center and some of the faces are not there. What appeared to be a chocolate cake was heavily decorated. There are three solemn little children standing next to the honoree and one young man on the right was an engaging young man--a politician in the making. Notice the woman behind him appears to have a bandage over her nose, but it is a failure in the photo. Sadly, no one was identified.
