1 folder (9 3/4" x 14") Mr. Coad's first wife was Clara Carter Hyatt Coad. She and Mr. Coad researched the Carter family and corresponded with other researchers. There is a little information in the folder about Carter's Little Liver Pills, which was the source of the family fortune. The folder contains several photographs, two of which have conflicting identifications.
