28 leaves (8 1/2" x 14") This file includes a copy of a contract dated 1895 between Clara Carter Hyatt and Brent Good regarding shares of stock in Carter Medicine Co. (manufacturer of Carter's Liver Pills) and a copy of the plaintiff's brief in the case of Clara Carter v. Brent S. H. Good and the Carter Medicine Company to be heard in Supreme Court, City and County of New York. There is no date on this brief. Clara Carter claims to have been defrauded by Mr. Good. Presumably these materials are in Mr. Coad's hands because he was married to Clara Carter Hyatt and helped to manage her affairs.
