Black and white 8"h x 10"w photo of the reconstruction of Susquehanna in Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. The house has a large outside end chimney just aft of the roof peak, four gable roofed dormers with six over six windows, and a shed roof over a full length porch on each long wall. On the first floor gable end, there is a six over six window with dark shutters on the right side of the chimney, but no windows on the left side. On the long wall to the right there are four six over six windows with dark shutters and a door at the far end. The roof over the porch is supported with six very simple posts. The porch floor is two steps above the ground. There is a similar porch on the left, but not much of it is visible. Some sort of outbuilding is visible on the left. The photo is in a maroon deckle edge presentation folder. On cover page 2, Mr. Miller glued a typewritten description of the photo: "Susquehanna House Greenfield Village, Dearborn, Michigan This quaint early American home was built 300 years ago at the mouth of the Patuxent River, near the Chesapeake Bay, at Cedar Point, Maryland. It served for many years as the town meeting place and as the home of Christopher Rousby, the King's Collector of Customs in Maryland. South End View Photo taken August 12, 1953" Signed in the matte, lower right
