7 3/4"h x 10 1/8"w black and white photo of a Texaco station mounted on foam core board. The building had two parts connected by a hyphen. The low building on the right had a pyramid roof with a chimney in the back. The building was made of embossed block. On the roadside elevation, there was an entry door with a window in its upper half on the left and a pair of windows on the right. The windows and the window space in the door were boarded up. There was a similar door and window arrangement in the hyphen and they were boarded up also. The remaining portion of the building had a hipped roof that included a two bay port crochere; there were gas pumps between the supports. On the far corner of the roof was a Texaco sign on a stout post. There was a central entry door and a window on each side. A single story addition was just visible to the left; it appeared to have a narrow garage door. There was a cross street and then a gable roof building that appeared to be an apartment bloc. The road in the foreground was paved and striped. Dr. Guyther used this image in an early presentation on the northern part of the county.
