Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w of a the porch side of a house called The Farm. Mr. Fenwick said it was built by William Spalding circa 1740 and raised to two stories in 1890 by Dr. John T. Spalding. In this view there is a two story building in the center with a two story addition on the left that is not as tall as the main house. There is a massive outside end chimney on the right gable end of the main building. There are two nine over six windows visible on the second floor of the main building and two six over six windows in the addition. There is a shed roof over a three bay porch for the main building and a two bay porch on the addition. The porches are just a few steps above the ground and supported on piers. All the roofs appear to be metal. A bicycle is parked in front of the porch and a man is sitting on the end of the porch near the chimney. Another man is just on the right edge of the photo. A sedan is parked in the yard on the left. A clothesline support post is in the immediate foreground.
