Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w of a the gable end with chimneys of a house called The Farm. Mr. Fenwick said it was built by William Spalding circa 1740 and raised to two stories in 1890 by Dr. John T. Spalding. This view focusses on the two chimneys at one end of the house. The chimney in the foreground is massive. The one in the background is not as deep, but the stack does extend up over the roof. The larger chimney is stuccoed on the wide dimension to a height of eight or more feet. On the second floor of the house there is a window right next to the chimney stack. There is a lean-to addition on posts with a nine light window on the back of the house. There is some sort of outbuilding in the background.
