The Oaks farmhouse chimneyEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1871Description
3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of the Oaks, the home of Dr. James Bunting in Budd's Creek. This photo shows the chimney on the clapboard gable end of the farmhouse. There were no windows or other openings on this wall of the house. The outside end chimney broke the roofline at the peak. On the back wall there were three windows on the second floor and two on the first floor. A shed roof one story addition was on the back of the house, probably right up against the older house. There was one window in the wall facing the camera, but both its shutters were closed. There was a four over four window in the gable end of the old part of the house.
