4"h x 6"w blue washed black and white photo of The Plains in the northern part of the county. This home was demolished in 1958 to make way for the neighborhood of Golden Beach. There was a broad wooden sidewalk in the foreground leading to a set of nine steps up to the house. There was a central story and a half building with a hipped roof, three dormers, and chimneys on the narrow end. There was a single story wing on the right with a large window and a small chimney on the gable end. There was a similar addition on the left end, but the details were obscured by a large tree. A five bay screened porch joined the two wings across the front of the central bloc. There was one door in the middle of the porch. Next to the addition on the left was a two story gable roofed building at right angles to the rest of the structure. An automobile was parked in front of the house on the right. Construction debris was on the hillside.
