Tintype 3 3/16"h x 1 7/8"w reputed to be of Theodore Herbert, young son of Alice Carmel Fenwick. Why the last name is Herbert is not explained. Theodore is standing with his left arm on a fabric draped table. Fenwick has dark hair parted on his leftt and combed to the right. He is looking directly at the camera. He has on a small white collar with a dark tie that goes straight across his throat. He is wearing possibly a gray or brown long sleeved jacket with a shawl collar over a high vest with six buttons and long straight leg trousers with a fly front. The jacket has a band with a button each end to hold the coat closed on the chest and then it flairs sharply away to the back. There are no other buttons on the coat. His footwear is barely visible, but does look well worn. The background behind the boy is plain. This piece was in the lower right of page 3 of the dark red photograph album.Collection
