3 3/8"h x 3 1/4"w black and white photo of the rear view of one part of the Thomas Cooper House in Leonardtown. Three two story houses were combined into a hotel. Three chimneys were visible in the photo, two on the gable end and one on the opposite gable end. The top third of the closest chimney had probably been replaced. A single story flat-roofed addition covered two of the chimneys. A second story door between the chimneys opens onto the roof of the addition. There was a small square window near the peak between the chimneys on the gable end, one six over six window at the near corner of the second floor, and another six over six window in a similar position on the first floor. There was a six over six window in the addition on the wall paralleling the back of the house, another such window on the driveway side and a pair of doors and another window beyond that. On the back of the house was a six over six window near the corner on the second floor and one on the first floor. Electric power came to the building on that corner. Three cars were visible in the driveway: a Studebaker?, an Oldsmobile, and one other. There was metal pipe fencing in foreground.
