3 3/8"h x 4 3/4"w black and white photo of the Thomas house. It was a two and a half story house with a gable roof. There was an outside end chimney on the far gable end and another small chimney on the roof peak fairly near the visible gable end. On the gable end was a tall narrow window in the roof peak, two six over six double hung shuttered windows on the second floor with two more on the first floor. A narrow entry door was squeezed in between the left window and the back of the house. On the long wall on the second floor there were five shuttered windows. There was a hipped roof for the porch that covered the entire long wall--seven bays worth--and wrapped halfway around each gable end. While it is not visible in the photo, the sidewalk suggests a central entry door. There was a wooden fence between the yard and the road.
