Toasting Roland B. DukeEntry/Object ID
1995.001.1797Description
This is a photograph of members and friends of the Leonardtown Volunteer Fire Dept. at a party to honor Roland B. Duke. Mr. Duke was seated at the banquet table and his friends stood to toast him, possibly on the occasion of his birthday. There had been a dinner at the long table before them. There was a paneled wall behind them with a door and several curtained windows visible. A Maryland flag was on a stand just to the left of center of the photo. A dark beam supported a heater near the ceiling.
