Like with previous interviews Andrew Philip Bove starts off with asking Estie Maus about when did she live at Flat Tops. She says the moved in in 1949 and moved out in 1957. Andrew asks her what the neighborhood was like and she mentions it was a friendly neighborhood where the homes surrounding her's were 2 units together. Everybody knew each other and knew who was coming and going. Her daughter like many other kids in the neighborhood spent time in the woods. Her home was in what they called the "Newer Section" and gives details about the interior. There was a furnace room and since this was before oil was used each home had their own coal bin. Her family would go to St. Nicholas on base for church before later going to the local community center.
Andrew eventually says that he knows the kids had places to hang out but didn't know where the adults themselves went for recreation. Estie tells him there really wasn't much for adults aside from church functions like dinners or meetings. Andrew was curious and asked her if her family often left Lexington Park for family things. She mentions not much aside from the occasional vacations. He ends the interview asking what she most wants people to remember about Lexington Park and Estie replies saying just the friendliness of people during the time she lived there.
