This is a transcript of an interview that Andrew Philip Bove did with Raymond Cyrus on his time at Flat Tops. Andrew starts off the interview asking Raymond about when he lived at the Flat Tops. To which Raymond said the early 50s because his father got a job on base. He mentions along with calling the neighborhood "Flat Tops" residents also called it "The Park". Raymond's father didn't own a car at the time so he and his family would walk to the local store called A & P. Andrew inquires about the landscape of Lexington Park and the Flat Tops to which Raymond makes mention of several hills and the woods.
Mr. Bove asks Raymond if he had any particular story about his time in the woods or any of the things he would get up to. Mr. Cyrus brings up how he would ride his bike down to South Gate, sneak under the fence and go to the drill hall. He says he was lucky the Navy never caught him. Andrew later goes on to ask about the people of Flat Tops, any traditions and how the base affected the area.
