5 7/16"h x 3 1/2"w postcard with a vertical orientation. The black and white image is 4 1/8"H and 3 1/2"w, leaving a small space at the bottom for the title and publication details. The viewer was standing in the graveyard of Trinity Church looking north and east at the church building. The bell tower was on the roof peak on the near end, integrated with the gable end wall. The lower part of the tower was square, above which was an open space and a witch's hat to cover the bell. At the pinnacle of the hat was an orb and Holy Cross. The roof was very steep. On the visible side, there were three dormers, equally steep. The windows in the dormer were not fully visible. On the plain gable end was a circular window just below the bell tower. On the same face was a small vestibule with a steep roof and a Celtic cross on the peak. The space had a double wooden door with a peaked window above. Ivy grew on all sides of the vestibule. There did not appear to be any windows on that gable end and the windows on the side were obscured by ivy. The verso was the usual center line division with the left for correspondence and the right for an address, neither of which had been used. In the upper left corner was the eagle, shield, arrows, and olive branch all in brown ink. The card had not been posted. It was published by Illustrated Post Card Co., N.Y.Collection
