Black and white photo 10"h x 8"w of Trinity Church in St. Mary's City. This view is of the south elevation of the building at the entrance. There is a small gable roofed entryway with three steps up to double wooden doors surmounted by a peaked arch window. Most of the entry walls are covered with ivy. The church spire rises behind that with a round window not quite halfway up. There is an enclosed belfry with louvered panels centered on each face. The roof has appears to have slate shingles and looks like a witch's hat. It is surmounted by a dark ball and plain cross. The church building is obscured by ivy and a large tree. A small brick addition is visible to the right with a small gothic leaded glass window. Just a few gravestones are visible around the building. There is no obvious path to the door.
