10"h x 8"w black and white photo of Captain Schumann and another officer standing at attention. The two visible rows of the audience were also standing, with the exception of the woman closest to the photographer--she is elderly and probably had bad knees. The view is across the water to the houses beyond. The small wreath was in front of the monument and the plaque was out in the grass. The American flag was on the left and the Maryland flag was on the right. The tree on the left was virtually leafless, but the one on the right had plenty of leaves.
