This is an 10"h x 8"w black and white photo of the presentation of a turkey and oysters from Saint Mary's County to President and Mrs. Johnson in December 1964 at the White House. The group is standing in front of a porch. L-R: Unidentified man, unidentified young woman, F. Elliott Burch, J. Wilmer Bowles, an unidentified man, William Chapman, and unidentified man, and Buck Briscoe holding the turkey. The turkey is hunkered down on top of his travel crate with a #10 can of Dick Lore's oysters sharing the stage. The commercially prepared sign on the front of the crate says "Mr. St. Mary's Co. VII Gift to President and Mrs. Johnson from the good people of St. Mary's Co. Md. Seasons Greetings 1964 Ted Barker" [in small letters in the lower right corner]
