Scope and Content
1 compact disk ; 4 11/16" in diameter
Catherine D. Thompson's oral history interview on November 15, 1996. She was born in Leonardtown. She had a good childhood, although she felt her parents were overprotective and when she went out on her own, it was definitely sink or swim. She was married at 19 and had a large family. When her children were older, she took classes for her GED and had some nurse's aide training. She talked some about the racial climate and changes over the years. She and her husband ran the Happyland Club. She was a quilter. The interview is on one disk and in a black plastic container with a cream label on the spine.
