1 compact disk ; 4 11/16" in diameter Clarence Leo Young's oral history interview on April 6, 2004. Mr. Young was a veteran of the integration war, appointed by the Governor to the School Board in 1955. He was from Budd's Creek and grew up on a farm. He discussed segregation in schools and the military. He bitterly resented each situation and was willing to fight to improve things. Lettie Dent was very opposed to school integration. He discussed the Grove children when they integrated Great Mills High School. He talked about the fear on both sides of the debate. He also talked about the difficulty he had starting a landscaping business. There was no data sheet with the interview.
