Unknown house 1Entry/Object ID
1995.001.2403Description
3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of part of an old house. The house had been abandoned for some time. Grasses had grown up around it, there was no glass in the upper window, and one window had been partially boarded over. The house had a low pitched sheet metal gable roof with a large dormer facing the camera. The siding on the house may not have been overlapped. There was a six over six round arched window in the dormer peak. An entry door was not quite centered under that window. A window on the left was boarded over. There was the remains of a chimney just on the other side of the roof peak beyond the dormer. It is unfortunate the house was not identified, because it was somewhat unusual.
