3 1/2"h x 2 1/4"w sepia tone photo full length portrait of an older man. He appeared to be quite tall. He was standing next to a chair and a drapery that hung from the ceiling. His body was facing the camera, but he was looking to his left. His thinning hair was probably wavy. He wore a coat that reached just to his knees with long sleeves, a defined waist, and moderate lapels. His shirt had a stand collar held in place by a wide band of some patterned material that did not have tails down the front; it was more like a neck warmer. He had on dark trousers. His left arm was cocked back to his waist and he held a dark stove pipe hat in that hand. He was an imposing figure.
