1 1/4"h x 7/8"w oval tintype in a paper folder. There was light embossing around an oval opening on the front. The access space on the back was covered with a sheet of thin paper advertising the studio. The subject was an elderly gentleman with quite a lot of white hair tucked back behind his ears. He wore a stiff white collar, a dark tie and a dark coat, but details were not visible. He was looking straight into the camera.
