6"h x 4"w sepia tone photo of a woman. She was barely looking to her right and was very solemn. She had curly hair with an off-center part pulled back behind her head with curls everywhere. Her dark dress had a stand collar and a ruffled lace inner collar, all fastened with a bar pin. She had drop earrings in her pierced ears. There were many covered buttons down the center front of her bodice. The dress had extensive cording all over the bodice. The panel at the bottom of the board had text in dark gold "Shorey" on the left and "Baltimore" on the right.

Text on verso: Gray background, black ink The photographer's logo was the head of a knight in armor with luxuriant feathers sprouting from the helmet on the edge of an artist's palette with "Shorey" down the open space on the palette. The palette leaned against a box camera. Banners below said "Photo Artist 157 W. Balto. St. Baltimore, Md." Below all this "Negatives preserved 10 years Negative No._____" but, sadly, no number was writtenCollection
