1 15/16"h x 1 7/16"w tintype of an older woman. She was facing the camera and looked straight into the lens; as is common in these photos, she looked very stern. Parted in the center, her white hair was pulled tight around her head in front, but the rest was in a lace? cap tied under her chin. All her clothing was dark; details were not visible. Her right arm was bent next to her body and her right hand was at her waist. Her left arm rested on some kind of support so that her left hand hung down from its edge. No wedding ring was visible. A copper colored metal frame was bent around the metal sheet.
