3 5/8"h x 2 3/8"w tintype of two women, neither of them young. The woman on the left was probably the older of the two. Her hair was pulled tight to her head. She had on a light colored flowered dress and a dark many-buttoned jacket. Both her hands rested in her lap. She may have been wearing a shoulder bag. The woman on the right had her hair pulled tight in front, but then had curls piled on top of her head toward the back. She had on a jacket and skirt of slightly different colors. She had a lace? stand collar and a small white bow on her bosom. She may have been wearing a decorative chain as well. Both her hands, fingers interlaced, rested at her waist. Her skirt seemed to be deliberately spread wide.
