Black and white photograph 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w of a house at Upper Queen Tree on the Patuxent River. This view shows a large stone and brick chimney on the gable end of a one story cabin with another building on the right that incorporates the inside end chimney of the smaller building. The porch of the each building is incoporated into its roofline. The roof may be metal panels. Near the roof peak there is a spot where the siding has come off. A rough chicken wire fence with a gate is between the camera and the buildings. The gatepost supports a birdhouse high above the landscape. The other building appears to be made of very old hand hewn boards. There is an opening in the roof peak right next to the chimney and there are boards askew in other spots. There is a three bay porch on this building, but no other details are visible.
