View from the porch of Porto BelloEntry/Object ID
1971.003.0082Description
Sepia tone landscape oriented photo 4 3/4"w x 3 1/2"h mounted on heavy umber/gray board. The photographer was standing on the front porch of Porto Bello, pointing the camera down the St. Mary's River. It shows a very faint image of a far shore and several small trees in the foreground. It is one of those views that was beautiful to the eyes of the person taking the picture, but seems flat and lifeless in the resulting photo.
