Description

3 5/16"h x 2 5/16"w landscape orientation sepia tone photo of four people, most likely a student's family, standing by the pillars that used to be the entrance to the school. The pillars were large squares of masonry with a heavy cap. A bronze? shield plaque was on the pillar to the right and there were dark stain lines from rain running behind the metal. A father was on the left in a white shirt and light trousers, with a full tie. Next to him was a dark-haired woman in a dark dress and dark stockings. Next to her was an older woman in a cloche hat with a large brim, a string of pearls, a V-neck medium colored dress, and very white stockings. Next to her was the little brother who had on a white shirt, light trousers, and a tie, wishing he could be anywhere else. ********************************** Text on verso: In pencil "30"
