1 document ; 7 7/8"w x 9 11/16" h This is a memorandum written by John F. Dent listing debts to be collected for Walter L. Dent. A big piece of the memo is gone, and it is difficult to make sense of it. One note is to William Tilden of Washington, D.C.. Mr. Tilden is to pay Wm. R. Polk $406 in gold to cancel a note Mr. Tilden owes a W. Godden. The second note is addressed to T. V. Niles, directing him to pay $500 to William R. Polk. There is no explanation for any of this.
