Commercial promissory note form executed at Leonardtowntown on March 19, 1878 in which R. P. Blakistone, M.D. promised to pay W.A. Padgett & Co. $88.68 one day after the date above, but the last line says "with interest from May 1, 1878." There is no information on the verso of the form. There is an engraved "frame" around the text and a very elaborate engraved figure of leaves and feathers on the left end of the form.Collection
