Account of Thomas C. Hodges with John R. W. Mankin of Washington, D.C., a produce and commission merchant in the amount of $19.50. Mr. Hodges purchased 2 tons of coal from the establishment, in December 1875. This ledger sheet is highly decorated with a 5/8" sheep in the upper left corner, a 1/2" bull in the upper right corner, and in the center of the header, a steam boat with smoke and flags streaming .Collection
