5 1/2"h x 3 3/8"w sepia tone photo of Walter P. Dent, Sr. dressed in his World War I uniform. It had a high collar, epaulets, buttoned down the front and had a buttoned pocket on each side of his chest and just below his waist. He had on jodphurs, puttees, and very shiny boots. His hair was slicked down on his head. He was standing in front of a backdrop of mystical clouds. The back of the photo was stamped to be a postcard. ************************************ Text on verso: in blue ball point pen "Walter Dent My sweet cousin" and "Walter Pinkney Dent so J. Marshall Dent, Sr. in barely visible black stamp ink "Carte Postale" and in pencil "Dent 540-3064"
