Description
4"h x 5 7/8"w color photo of a room on the second floor in the west wing of the White House at Charlotte Hall School. The room had a large fireplace with a mantle. There was dull green molding around the fireplace and baseboards on all the walls. Three lamp bases without bulbs or shades were on the mantle. There were andirons in front of the firebox. There was a six over six double hung window on the left and one on each side of the fireplace. Each window had an electric candle on the windowsill. There was a radiator under the dormer window. The ceiling on the left angled into the room; the house had a gambrel roof. Four chairs were around a small table with another chair and an upholstered bench against the walls. There appeared to be a window seat under each of the windows by the fireplace.
