Black and white 6 1/8"h x 6"w photo of Westbury Manor on St. George's River near Valley Lee. This is a two and a half story house with a two story addition. The main building has a gable roof with two inside end chimneys on each gable end. There are two gable roof dormers in the roof on the visible side and probably on the invisible side, as well. There is a large two story open porch with triple posts at the corners. The porch has a flat roof and a starburst railing all around, presumably with access from the dormer windows. There is also a starburst railing on the second floor porch and large windows or French doors open to this porch. The first floor portion has a barely visible door into the house and a few chairs, but mostly the trees are in the way. The addition on the right has a plain gable roof paralleling the main house's roof line, with a little round window in the roof peak. There is an interior chimney just to the right of center on the roofline. There are two vent stacks on the roof face, one at each end. On the second floor, there are two six over six double hung windows and a small window right next to the main building, probably for a bathroom. On the gable end second floor, there are two six over six windows. On the first floor, on the gable end, is a screened porch with arches outlining each bay. It has a sloping hipped metal roof that peaks between the second floor windows. There is a door to the porch on the long side of the space. There is a bay window on the long face of the addition with a sloping metal roof, one six over six window on each side and two six over six windows in the center. There is also another six over six window between it and the gable end. The house is equipped with gutters and lightning conductors. The propane tanks are by the corner of the addition. There is a set of T posts for a clothesline out in the yard. There may be a small boat on the ground by the screened porch.
