Western Maryland Station Luke 1Entry/Object ID
2019.009.0054Description
8"h x 10"w black and white photo of Western Maryland Railroad station in Luke, Maryland on a rainy day. A road next to the station crossed the tracks and both people and automobiles were trying to get from one side to the other. The station was a small rectangular building that looked to be about the same size as a schoolhouse. It had a metal gable roof. The image shows one gable end with two narrow windows and the "Luke" sign board and one side with at least one door and an unknown number of windows. The station was hedged around with roads and town buildings; the entire town may have been shoehorned in between mountains.
