Description

3 1/2"h x 3 1/8"w black and white photo of the White House at Charlotte Hall School. This view was of one long wall of the house. It had a gambrel roof with three visible dormers. There was a window air conditioner in the dormer on the right. There was a large inside end chimney with a dark corbel. On the second floor end was one window on each side of the chimney stack. There was a similar window arrangement on the first floor, but the windows were larger. On the first floor long wall, there was a central door and two nine over nine windows on each side. A four step stairway led from the door to the ground. The bushes were large and obscured quite a bit of detail. ********************************** Text on verso: in blue ball point pen: "White House"
