Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of White Marsh in Great Mills. This is a large two story gable roof house with a cross gable in the center of the roof and an addition on the gable end. There are two chimneys on the near end. The left chimney is almost completely covered with vines. The addition seems to fit between the chimneys. There is room for a window in the peak of the gable end, but I am not sure there is one. There are no visible chimneys on the opposite end. There is a small round arch window in the cross gable. On the second floor are three large six over six windows. On the first floor there is a three bay porch with a hipped roof and three over three sections of screening in each bay. The support posts are wide at the bottom and narrower at the top, but there is gingerbread at the top of each post. The door to the porch is on the left. Openings to the house are not visible. The addition on the right has a gable roof paralleling the main house and is only one story. There is a door on the long wall, but no other openings. There is a small hipped roof screened porch on the gable end of this addition. It has a knee wall with screening above. The driveway goes past this porch. There is a hedge between the driveway and the main house.
