1 folder ; 9 1/2" x 14 3/4" On September 14, 1895, Caroline and William E. Blackistone sold a lot in Leonardtown to Francis F. Greenwell for $170. The legal description of the lot was by reference to the deed by which Joseph and Cora Key sold the lot to the Blackistones in 1888, so the information is not present. An attempt at a transcription is included. November 9, 1920, Nannie and Aloysius Fenwick deeded part of Hanover to the County to use as the right of way for Medley's Neck Road in exchange for a 2 1/2 acre piece of the Alms House Farm. Peter H. Thompson signed for the County Commissioners and C. Henry Camalier was the Justice of the Peace who managed the transaction. December 1, 1920 Nannie and Aloysius Fenwick had deeded about 2 acres of Hanover to Francis and Margaret Greenwell and in consideration of that, the Greenwells deeded about 3 1/2 acres of Oak Lea Farm (adjacent to Hanover) to Nannie Fenwick. Both Mr. and Mrs. Greenwell signed the deed, as did C. Henry Camalier, the Justice of the Peace who managed the transaction.
