Description

4 9/16"h x 3 1/2"w portrait oriented black and white photo of a window in the White House at Charlotte Hall School. This view was identified by Hope Grace as a window on the north side. On the first floor on the long side was a tall six over six double hung window with contrasting flat arch. The exterior woodwork was painted a dark color. There was a windowshade on the top of the window on the inside and shutters on the inside of the bottom half of the window. ************************************ Text on verso: in pencil by Hope Grace "Charlotte Hall White House Window detail N. end E.
